For many years the only way to rehabilitate your sewer line in Denver was to attempt to locate the trouble spot and then dig a trench to expose the pipe and repair it. Thanks to new technology, this is not longer necessary. Using a fiber optic video camera, the line can be inspected and problem areas identified with accuracy where and why the pipe is failing. The leading cause of sewer pipe failures is root infestation meaning roots have entered the sewerline in most cases through joints in the pipe where each length of pipe is connected. Once the sewerline has been breached by roots they will quickly accumulate inside the line and wreak havoc on your sewer system.
WHERE TO START? The roots can be cleared out using a high pressure water jetting machine called a Hydro Jetter that can cut through thick roots and clear them out pretty easily. The problem is this is only a temporary fix. If the joints, cracks or breaks in the line are not addressed and repaired, the roots will return in just a few months.

SEWER PIPE LINING This type of trenchless rehabilitation is completed by inserting a PVC infused flexible liner that is first saturated with epoxy, through the entire length of the existing pipe using a special machine. (SEE VIDEO BELOW) Again this method will seal any cracks or breaks in the pipe and will also elimate all the joints as the liner is one continous piece. No longer will you have to worry about penetration from tree roots.
SEWER PIPE BURSTING This method of trenchless no dig rehabilitation involves installing a new pipe by attaching it to a cone shaped bursting head that is attached to the new pipe and pulled through using a powerful hydraulic machine the literally breaks apart the old pipe while simutaneuosly pulling the new pipe in behind it. Again, as with sewer pipe lining, the new pipe will have no joints where roots can get in.
